CSA Subscription and Grub Box.
Farming in the high desert has days like those experienced while camping in Nevada , most of them sunny with blue
skies and pretty much carefree. Occasionally however, the wind kicks up here on the farm like it does out on the
playa and we wonder what were we thinking?
Well what we were thinking was….let’s grow produce for the people who go camping! Let's do a modified CSA basket
called a grub box. Popular with campers since the days of the pioneer hunters, trappers, prospectors, and people who
crossed the Nevada desert. Plus it's what folks here use to call the box of supplies a family took camping.
Grub boxes from NanaDew Herb Farm are like CSA Baskets, a food source that supports community, social justice,
and sustainability. Where they differ is that CSA Baskets are seasonal, available spring through late fall. We prefer that
people sign up for them for at least one season at a time. NanaDew Grub Boxes on the other hand are
available weekly. The week you go camping!
Loaded with organic produce, such as tomatoes, cucumbers, melons, corn, beans, herbs, squash, watermelon,
potatoes and garlic. Then we add local honey, nuts and more! This grub box is guaranteed to help keep you fed and
hydrated. Sign up at NanaDewHerbFarmCSA.com. Indicate the weekly share is for camping and please include
your contact information. We really appreciate your business and we’re looking forward to the relationship.
